GPT-6 Sol

GPT-6 Sol sits one tier below GPT-6 Astra and replaces GPT-5.6 Sol as OpenAI's workhorse for coding and agents, at $2/$10 per million tokens (50% below its GPT-5.6 counterpart). It takes text and image input with a 1.05M-token context window and up to 128K output tokens. A week after launch it was superseded by GPT-6.1 Sol at the same price, which OpenAI now recommends for most uses.
