Seed 2.1 Turbo is ByteDance's cost-optimized counterpart to Seed 2.1 Pro, released August 10, 2026. It is a faster, cheaper variant built for high-frequency enterprise workloads where latency and per-token cost take priority over peak intelligence. At roughly half the price of Pro, it targets large-scale production deployments — classification, extraction, and lightweight agent loops. Available through the Volcano Engine API and the Coze ecosystem.
